Logistics Exports/Imports Department – Asst.Manager

Primarily responsible for preparing and arranging all mandatory Export/Import shipping documents and managing communication and collaboration with international carriers, customers, rail/road operators, vendors, agents and overseas associates to ensure smooth cargo operations.

ü  Preparing and verifying Import Shipping documents i.e.  Shipping bill, Bill of entry, Customs Duty and clearance activity.

ü  Coordinate closely with shipping lines / airlines / CHA / agents and other freight forwarders for scheduling and booking the shipment to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery

ü  To prepare daily shipment and delivery documents. Handling of export/Import documentation and preparing the necessary origin, forms and certificates

ü  Coordinating and follow up shipment movement and providing shipping documents and details to customer

ü  Provided issue resolution to both internal and external customers on a daily basis. Assisted with bill of lading and manifest discrepancies as needed.

ü  Performed express/telex releases for customers as requested

ü  Execute all shipper requested changes to bills of lading as well as manifest corrector requests.

ü  Arrange details of shipments with forwarders, carriers as necessary for Import/exports

ü  Plan and book the shipment in most cost effective manner and efficient means to Import/export goods within customer requirements.

ü  Arranging and booking shipments as per customer requirements.

ü  Get all documents attested from relevant authorities/chamber of commerce/Export Inspection Agency.

ü  Ensure customer is provided excellent service throughout the export process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution

ü  Contact to Customs and arranging for clearance services for all shipments

ü  Resolving issues arising in Import/export process
