▪ Creating a good working environment through identifying and
analysing areas where we can improve (continuous improvement).
▪ Assisting quality technicians on their daily tasks (i.e. ensuring that
work-in-progress is complying with the design & customer
specifications).
▪ Conducting motion and time studies in order to have standardized
processes.
▪ Conducting 5s and ensuring that everyone is adhering to it.
▪ Scrap reduction project & analysis.
▪ Do root cause analysis of non-conforming products and provide
corrective or preventative actions.
▪ Ensure timeously movement of WIP to warehouse & production
machines.

▪ Optimisation on park off procedure process (maintenance of vehicles
in stock), managing in & out movement of vehicles on CBU stock list.
▪ Update sales team with all new stocks list and pipeline units.
▪ Do planned maintenance scheduling for inventory vehicles (trucks &
buses) and assign them to MAN dealerships and private capital
dealerships.
▪ Prepare monthly maintenance KPI’s and report.
▪ Plan and order stock directly from source plants.
▪ Liaise between local sales and both assembly plants
▪ Creating work instructions and updating them whenever there are
new improvements/changes.
▪ Do scheduling (using MS project) for fitments to be done on trucks,
in order to give a customer an estimated ordering time.
▪ Coordinate trucks/bus movement requests from sales team.
▪ Raise orders and send them through to suppliers.
▪ Liaise with the logistics supplier regarding the progress of movement
request.
▪ Conduct invoice(s) verification with logistics supplier in order to have
an information that corresponds to the call off.
